Sunday Afternoon in a Coral Sundress.

Have you ever had a favorite place that when you went there you were just completely at home? Lake Geneva, WI is like that for me. My cousin Jill and I decided to spend our Sunday afternoon enjoying a fabulous “brunch” at Egg Harbour, coffee at Caribou, and walking by the lake path to see the beautiful homes and gorgeous scenery. All in all it was a perfect day spent with my best friend, and one that we hope to repeat several times this fall! IMG_8932

My cousin Jill’s adorable outfit, she looks so chic! {Michael Kors bag, isn’t is perfect?}

This bench says: sit, pray, meditate, grow. The wishes bridge is definitely a must see along the lake path!

Close up of my necklace, it looks great with a distressed tee as well!

I hope that everyone enjoyed their Sunday as much as I did, hopefully you have wonderful plans for Labor Day Weekend. I know I do! Have a wonderful week! Much Love- Jenny.

PS- This picture was inspired by the Hot-Dog legs tumblr, I couldn’t resist!

A Night on The Town Kinda Dress.

There I was, walking down the aisles of Target minding my own business, when I came across a huge display that said “Nordstrom Collection for Target”. Then, I saw it. My heart skipped a beat, I was short of breathe, and for a split second everything in my life made sense. I was in love, no doubt about that. I had never felt this way before, I wasn’t sure how to react, I mean there have been others but they never made me feel this way. I hightailed it over and was dialing my best friend at the same time, she had to know I had just met “The One”. Hello? Hi, it’s me I found it! Huh? I found the perfect dress! I need you to take me out to a nice dinner downtown. Ok I will! Yes my friends,  I had found it. The perfect dress. It looked like a 60’s cocktail dress and I just had to to have it, so I came up with a reason to get it! Drinks and dinner downtown is the perfect place to wear a gorgeous cocktail dress, and this particular one inspired a night out that will sure to be repeated many times in the future.

We went to RPM Italiano {Which in case you aren’t aware is Giuliana and Bill Rancic’s restaurant} and it was every bit of swanky yet homey that you would want.

Drinks were delicious and the menu was extensive {even a gluten free menu, I got the pasta it was insanely delicious.}

Since we were downtown we had to make a stop at the Sprinkles Cupcake ATM, worth every penny.

So here’s to girls nights that end in cupcakes, gorgeous cocktail dresses, and pasta. Have a wonderful week! Much Love, Jenny

Stripes to you.

I’ve always been one for a good dress and a pair of heels and yesterday was no exception. I put this outfit together in about 5 minutes because I was running late for church, and if you know me you know that I’m always late for everything!

Here’s to a week of great friends, good times, and beautiful weather. Much Love- Jenny

3.1 Phillip Lim for Target: SHUTUP THIS IS HAPPENING?

As a long supporter of designers that I can’t afford {the whole champagne taste on a beer budget thing aka a girl in her 20’s} every time Target does a collaboration I have a countdown in my phone. Why, you ask? Well, my friends Target always seems to pick the hottest designers who have an eye for cool kid clothing. Phillip Lim is no exception to that, he always has chic clothing that really compliments a woman’s style. I am beyond excited for his collaboration with Target, especially since I saw this video of the look book photo shoot. I see a couple items on there that I will be purchasing for my own! Click on the link to watch it, directly from!

Top 5 on a Monday Morning!

To start this week off right I want to share my favorite things as of the moment.

The inside of my new Kate Spade bag {recently purchased due to their surprise 75% off sale}, polka dots are my favorite pattern! I will smile every time I open my bag.

This image from the Miranda Lambert concert last night at the Wisconsin State Fair, the whole crowd was doing the wave!

The sky lately. The weather has been so weird but the colors in the sky have been inspiring me beyond measure!

The Naked Coconut Organic Coconut Bliss bar, so delicious and perfect for summer! Of course it’s also dairy and gluten free!

This picture my best friend L took of me when we spent the day on the lake. In case you can’t tell we were going fast!
Have a wonderful week everyone! Much Love- Jenny!

What To Wear: To A Country Music Concert.

This Sunday I am blessed enough to be able to attend a concert by my favorite female country artist of all time, MIRANDA LAMBERT! One of my good friends Kelly and I are heading up to Wisconsin to have some good drinks, hopefully a chocolate frozen banana {it’s been years since I’ve had one and the hours of watching Arrested Development has re-ignited that craving. Thanks Bluth’s Frozen Banana Stand}, and some really good music. I have always planned my outfits for an event I am looking forward to in advance and this concert is no exception.  If you have any quandaries about what is festival or concert appropriate, fear not I am here to answer them. This is the perfect outfit for a fashion conscious girl but still wants to look a little country. I gotta stay true to my small town roots!

If you have never listened to Miranda Lambert I urge you to youtube some of her stuff. She is a fierce and amazing woman with pipes that will blow you away! Her songs really reach out to you in almost any situation that you are or have been going through. My favorite song of the moment that I cannot wait to hear her perform is this one…
This is also a classic that you can’t go wrong with, it will help heal your broken heart. Mostly by singing the lyrics angrily in your car. Don’t deny that you do that, we all do!
So here’s to good friends, cute outfits, and some darn good country music! Much Love- Jenny

The Little 27 Year Old Who Lived In Her Shoes.

Accessories are the key to any outfit., and possibly the key to my heart.  My Mom also happens to be a shoe addict so I can see where I get it, and that is what I use as my excuse. Hey, it’s genetic, I can’t help it! These are my favorite shoes of the moment. Some get a little bit more circulation in my fashion rotation but none the less I covet them all.

I am a heels girl {probably since the first time I was able to watch Sex and The City and saw Carrie Bradshaw flit around Manhattan in Manolo’s} but I can’t deny the comfort of a stylish flat. As a hairstylist I need comfortable shoes but I refuse to sacrifice style, much to the chagrin of my father! That’s why I love picking up the latest styles at Charlotte and Discovery, they are perfect for the budget conscious girl! Now I am off to go see the new movie The To Do List with Aubrey Plaza { sassy April Ludgate on Parks and Recreation} and hopefully have a cocktail with my cousin. Have a lovely Tuesday everyone! Much Love- Jenny

PS- The polish on my toes is called Butler Please by Essie. In case anyone was wondering!
